Young Parkinson’s Ireland (Diagnosed before 60)

We offer information and support from people who understand and who know what it is like living with Young Onset Parkinson’s. We feel it is important to be connected with people living with this condition that are at the same life stages, so whether you are at school, college, work or a parent, there is support here for you. We often refer to ourselves as the YPI Branch and our members come from all corners of Ireland. Our committee likewise are spread around the country:
Cork – Jerome
Dublin – Kieran, Maurice, Michael and Tony
Meath – Izas
Offaly – Edel

We keep costs to a minimum by emailing notices of meeting etc. We send an email newsletter a number of times a year. We also use the PAI website, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube to keep in touch.

As a member of the YPI Branch you are also entitled to be a member of your local Branch and can avail of the services and supports they offer locally. They may hold social events and in-person classes that would be of interest to you. We recommend you make contact with your local Branch and introduce yourself.
