Weekly Activities

Dance Movement

Location: Connacht Hotel, Galway City
When: Every Tuesday at 11.00am

Enjoy a fun and engaging dance movement class designed to improve mobility, balance, coordination and confidence. Suitable for people living with Parkinson’s of all abilities.

Location: Connacht Hotel, Galway City
When: Every Thursday, four one hour classes between 9.00am and 1.00pm

These physiotherapy sessions are specifically tailored for people living with Parkinson’s, helping to improve mobility, strength, balance and overall physical wellbeing.

When: Every Wednesday, four one hour classes between 9.00am and 1.00pm

Join our physiotherapy programme, designed to support movement, flexibility and independence through guided exercise.

HSE Speech and Language Therapy Clinic

Location: Clayton Hotel, Ballybrit, Galway
When: First Wednesday of every month, 10.00am to 3.00pm

This monthly HSE Speech and Language Therapy clinic provides support and advice for people living with Parkinson’s who are experiencing changes in speech, voice or swallowing.

Choir

Location: Clayton Hotel, Ballybrit, Galway
When: Every Saturday, 11.00am to 1.00pm

Join our welcoming choir to enjoy the benefits of singing, improve breathing and voice control, and connect with others in a relaxed and supportive environment.

When: Every Tuesday, 1.30pm to 4.30pm

These physiotherapy sessions focus on improving strength, balance, flexibility and confidence through exercises tailored for people living with Parkinson’s.

John Mullarkey Takes on a 24 Hour Croagh Patrick Challenge

John Mullarkey is taking on an incredible endurance challenge to raise vital funds for Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland and the Galway Branch of Parkinson’s Ireland. From 4pm on Friday 7 August until 4pm on Saturday 8 August, John will attempt to climb Croagh Patrick as many times as possible over a continuous 24 hour period.…
