Creating the opportunity for your business and employees to give back
Whether you are a smaller local business or a global company, there are many ways to support Parkinson’s Ireland.
We are always encouraging businesses to partner with us. Not only does this raise funds and well needed awareness for Parkinson’s Disease and the work Parkinson’s Ireland does, it also creates the opportunity for your business and employees to give back.
Did you know that Parkinson’s Disease (PD) is the fastest growing neurological condition in the world, with numbers set to double by 2050? Approximately 18,000 people are living with PD in Ireland and Parkinson’s Ireland works hard to assist those living with it by offering support, advice and resources.
However, we cannot do this alone. We need your help to raise awareness and funds to support our work. This includes our nurse helpline service, our weekly zoom classes, research projects, local support groups and more.
Partnering with Parkinson’s Ireland will give your business the opportunity to transform the lives of those with PD by fundraising and supporting our awareness and advocacy campaigns.
Current partnership: Dovida Ireland

Parkinson’s Ireland launched it’s flagship fundraiser ‘A Walk in the Park for Parkinson’s’ in September 2024 and the second event was held in April 2025.
Dovida Ireland currently sponsor our walk event and their support is invaluable. We encourage you to support ‘A Walk in the Park’ each year as a fundraiser and a sponsor and to encourage your team to raise awareness by walking with us.
What could your company impact look like?
Your sponsorship can help Parkinson’s Ireland make an impact in many ways. Your fundraising can help us fund additional nurses, source more local supports such as exercise classes, physio, speech and language and more, and it can help us educate the greater public by putting funds towards campaigns, such as our ‘Different for Everyone’ campaign we ran in 2024 and 2025. You can read more about this campaign here.

Parkinson’s Ireland has three nurse specialists on staff, who are available to offer information talks to your team to educate and raise awareness on the condition and how your funding can help our charity.
