Thank You Mary-Ita O’Connor

Parkinson’s Ireland would like to give a sincere thank you to Mary-Ita O’Connor, who raised €33,270 through her 5K fun run on April 13th 2025.

This took place in the Demesne, Newcastle West, Co. Limerick to raise funds for our Cork and Limerick branches.

Our Cork branch committee member Jerome Maume met Mary-Ita and her husband Tommy, pictured below, on July 4th in the Hibernian Hotel, Mallow for a cheque presentation.

This is a phenomenal achievement and shows great awareness and support for Mary-Ita, her family and all those living with Parkinson’s in the communities of Cork and Limerick.

Thank you to everyone who contributed and supported the fundraiser.
