Parkinson’s Ireland attends EFNA Conference 2026

Our Advocacy Coordinator Jamie and Parkinson’s Nurse Specialist Lisa attended the European Federation of Neurological Associations (EFNA) conference in Dublin.

They are pictured here with Hélène Nicora, Director General of Parkinson’s Europe, and Dr Emma O’Shea, who is leading a new research initiative exploring mental health and Parkinson’s. The project is funded through the Health Research Board (HRB) and Health Research Charities Ireland (HRCI) joint funding scheme.

The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to connect with colleagues from across the neurological community, share experiences and learn about the latest developments in research, advocacy and support for people living with neurological conditions.
