Northwest Branch Receives €2,310 Donation from Tully Lawnmowers

Ann Foxe attended the presentation night at Tully Lawnmowers on 15 October, where she was presented with a cheque for €2,310.

The donation was raised through Tully Lawnmowers’ Vintage and Family Fun Day Fundraiser, held on 13 September, with the Nort West Branch of Parkinson’s Ireland chosen as one of the beneficiaries.

The Northwest Branch would like to extend a sincere thank you to Noel, Roy, Carmel and all the staff at Tully Lawnmowers for their generosity and for the time and effort that went into organising the event. This wonderful donation will help support the work of Parkinson’s Ireland and the services provided to people living with Parkinson’s and their families.

Northwest Branch Members Enjoy Annual Social Gathering in Athlone

A total of 63 members from the Northwest Branch travelled to Athlone recently for Parkinson’s Ireland’s annual Social and Educational Gathering.

The event was a great success, with members enjoying the talks and activities organised throughout the gathering. It also provided a valuable opportunity to meet and connect with members from branches across the country.

The Northwest Branch would like to thank the hotel staff for their warm welcome and excellent hospitality throughout the event. A special thank you goes to Pauline at Parkinson’s Ireland’s National Office for organising the gathering and ensuring everything ran smoothly from beginning to end.

It was a very enjoyable few days for everyone who attended, and members are already looking forward to next year’s gathering.
