Climbing Carrauntoohil for Parkinson’s Ireland

On September 20th, Rory O’Neill set out to climb Ireland’s highest peak, Carrauntoohil, joined by 54 incredible supporters and fundraisers. Together, they turned the challenge into a celebration of community spirit and generosity.

The group’s efforts raised an amazing €15,290 in support of Parkinson’s Ireland, helping to fund vital services and supports for people living with Parkinson’s across the country.

This climb was about more than reaching the summit. It reflected the strength and perseverance shown by those living with Parkinson’s every day, and the power of people coming together for a shared cause.

👏 A huge thank you to Rory and everyone who took part—you’ve made a real difference.
