A Walk in the Park for Parkinson’s Unites Communities Nationwide

On April 11th, Parkinson’s Awareness Day, communities across the country came together for A Walk in the Park for Parkinson’s, with events taking place in 21 locations nationwide. The day was a powerful show of solidarity, raising awareness and vital funds to support those living with Parkinson’s and their families.

Participants of all ages stepped out to walk, connect and show their support. From local parks to community spaces, each location was filled with a shared sense of purpose, positivity and encouragement. The event highlighted not only the strength of the Parkinson’s community, but also the impact that collective action can have.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who registered, attended and donated. Your support plays a crucial role in helping us continue our work and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by Parkinson’s.

If you were unable to take part on the day, there is still time to contribute. Donations remain open at walkinthepark.ie, and every contribution, no matter the size, is greatly appreciated.

We would also like to express our gratitude to Dovida for sponsoring this year’s event. Their support helped make A Walk in the Park for Parkinson’s possible and contributed to its success across all 21 locations.

Together, we are raising awareness, building community and taking steps towards a better future for everyone affected by Parkinson’s.
