Advocacy and Community in Offaly
Our CEO, Shane O’Brien, and Advocacy Officer, Jamie, recently met with members of our Offaly branch to discuss local advocacy priorities and the needs of people with Parkinson’s in the county.
The visit also provided an opportunity to recognise Jean Durkin, who was presented with honorary membership in recognition of her longstanding commitment to the Offaly branch. Jean was instrumental in establishing the branch and developing services and supports for people with Parkinson’s in Offaly.
