Parkinson’s Awareness Day- April 11th

Across Ireland, buildings are lighting up red to mark Parkinson’s Awareness Day, creating a powerful symbol of solidarity and support.

Why red? It represents love, strength, and support for everyone living with Parkinson’s, as well as their families and carers. These illuminated landmarks are a reminder that no one is alone, and that communities across the country stand together in awareness and understanding.

Each red light helps spark conversation, build compassion, and highlight the importance of continued support for all those affected by Parkinson’s.
