Mid-West

Representing people with Parkinson’s in the Midwest, Una Anderson Ryan met with Frank O’Mara successful athlete at a private book signing in Limerick.

One person who read the book said “it was not a good book— it was amazing”. As we all know Frank had a career most athletes only dream of and then went on to have another career in industry, reaching the top in his field. He is an inspiration to all those who are living with Parkinson’s. He has agreed to come back to Limerick on The 6th June to talk to the members of the local branch. We wish him well and look forward to his return.

In the meantime buy his book: ‘Bend don’t Break. A Memoir of Endurance.’
