BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Our Board of Directors are all volunteers. You can read a little about them on this page.

Our Board of Directors are all volunteers and give their time and expertise freely. The Board meets approximately once per month with short breaks in the summer and winter. The Board are elected each year at our AGM by rotation, and from time-to-time Board members are co-opted.

Ann Foxe – Chairperson

Ann Foxe – Chairperson

Ann was instrumental in setting up the North-West branch over 20 years ago and is the current serving secretary of the North-West branch. She has over 20 years’ experience with PAI and is well-versed in compliance.
Una Anderson Ryan – Treasurer

Una Anderson Ryan – Treasurer

Una is a founding member of the original board for PAI. Has worked with the Midwest Branch for over 30 years, implementing and developing their vision for a Parkinson’s Disease nurse service in the midlands.
Robert Young – Secretary

Robert Young – Secretary

Robert joined the Board of PAI in August 2021. He has worked in the domestic and cross-border insurance and pensions sector for 33 years. Robert is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He has held senior roles in Finance, Risk and Compliance.
Dave Power – Director

Dave Power – Director

Dave joined the Board of the Association in October 21. Dave has been working in IT all his life. He has worked in numerous roles such as developer, solution architect, lead consultant and manager. Currently Dave works with Microsoft as a senior Technology Specialist. Dave became involved with the Parkinsons Association of Ireland through a project we worked in early 2021. Dave is from Dublin and spends his spare time tending to his city centre garden, cooking and taking long walks in the country.
Beccy Cameron

Beccy Cameron

Beccy Cameron joined the Board in November 2021. Beccy has over thirty years’ experience working within the human resource management sector acquired through a wide range of organisations such as financial services, retail, IT, telecommunications, media, accountancy and the public sector in Ireland, the UK and across Europe. Beccy is the Founder/ Director of Robin HR Consultancy, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPD) and a Member of the Irish Institute of Training & Development (IITD). Living in Enniskerry, Co Wicklow, Beccy is an Iyengar Yoga teacher, daily sea swimmer, avid reader and gardener.
Sinead Colleran

Sinead Colleran

Sinead Colleran joined the Board in March 2022. Sinead lived for 10 years in France where she set up her own translation and education services company. Upon returning to Ireland, she commenced work with Community Games where she is now the Operations Manager. Sinead holds a postgraduate certificate in Leadership and Management from NUIG, a postgraduate diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute, and a Bachelor of Arts in Community Development from TUS. She recently completed the Accelerate course in Management with Sport Ireland. She is a member of the Association of Data Protection Officers of Ireland as a certified Practitioner. Sinead volunteers with her local community in Ballinasloe by designing and maintaining their website and enjoys going to concerts, traveling, and cooking!

Frank Lynch
Frank was born in Cork, but moved to
Limerick at an early age as his father was
transferred there by his company. Educated
at St. Munchin’s College and the School
of Building in Limerick, he worked as a
draughtsman with John Thompson and
Partners, Patrick J. Sheahan and Partners
and Limerick Harbour Commissioners. Under
the Harbours Act of 1996, Limerick Harbour
Commissioners became Shannon Estuary
Ports Company, which subsequently was
merged with Foynes Port Company to form
a single authority for the Shannon Estuary,
Shannon Foynes Port Company. Frank’s
career path changed during this time, and
he retired as Company Secretary in 2011. His
interests include sport, mainly cricket and
rugby. He and his wife, Assumpta, have five
children.

Helen McCormack
Helen McCormack joined the Board in April
2022. Helen, originally from the UK, moved
to Ireland 15 years ago to join GE Healthcare
and she has remained at the forefront of
where science, business and philanthropy
collide. Helen holds a BA Hons degree in
Hospitality Management and is continuing
her studies within neuroimmunology and
infectious disease. Helen’s vast experience
as a founder, CEO, board member and in
other senior business and global operational
roles has made her an expert in many aspects
of healthcare, and most recently neurology
and neurodegenerative disease actively
working on pharmaceutical and diagnostic
developments. Helen holds Parkinson’s
disease very close to her heart as her father
suffers from LBD with parkinsonism, and she
is delighted to be able to volunteer within
our charity. Helen enjoys cooking, attending
concerts and sports events and loves to
travel
