North Kerry Branch

The North Kerry branch of the Parkinson’s Association have regular meetings in the Three Mermaids Restaurant/Bar in Listowel. A guest speaker attends and there is an opportunity for patients/carers to have a question and answer session.

At our pre-Christmas social evening in the Three Mermaids, Listowel, we were delighted to meet our special guests, Mary and Cliff Gore. Mary was the founder of the North Kerry Branch and was the enthusiastic and highly efficient Secretary for many years. Cliff is a talented artist and is still busy at his easel creating his paintings. He is never happier than when he is in his garret studio working on his latest masterpiece.
We send our condolences to our Committee Member, Joan Rogers, on the recent, unexpected death of her husband, Stanley.
Congratulations to Mary Lynch who organised and ran a successful Fashion Show in Tralee recently in aid of Parkinson’s.
 

We will be holding a Flag Day Collection in Listowel on April 12th and 14th in support of Parkinson's Awareness Week. We hope to gets lots of support!
