East Midlands Branch

Chairperson of the East Midland Branch is Marian Deely and our Secretary is Moira Barry. Our Branch represents approximately 45 patients and their carers and is spread over several counties. We have members in Kildare, Laois, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath and Wicklow. We hold about six general meetings per year and they take place in the Day Care Centre, Newbridge Road, Naas, Co Kildare at 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoons. We also run Yoga classes, which our patients find very beneficial. These classes usually run for four consecutive Saturdays in Abbeyleix and four consecutive Sundays in Naas in the Spring and again in the Autumn. We also have a Summer outing and a Christmas party each year. Our group are a very positive and upbeat group and all our events are very well attended.
